Chapura Announces Latest Synchronization Software for Handheld Computers

Chapura(R), Inc. announces the latest product in its line-up of software programs for handheld computers - Jibe(TM) 1.1.

Jibe software is specifically designed for users of Microsoft(R) Outlook(R) Express and Palm OS(R) PDAs, or handheld computers. This synchronization software performs a three-way synchronization of contacts with e-mail addresses between the user's handheld, Palm(TM) Desktop Software and Outlook Express, helping to keep e-mail addresses current in each application. Jibe syncs the following data fields for each contact with an e-mail address: first name, last name, company name, and e-mail address.

At the touch of a button, Jibe software's timesaving features allow Outlook Express users to synchronize their contacts with e-mail addresses with the Palm Desktop Address Book. Chapura, developer of the industry standard synchronization software, is the first company to develop software solely for Outlook Express users to complete this three-way synchronization. "Up until Jibe was available, users had to manually duplicate the information from Outlook Express to the Palm Desktop. We saw the need for a consistently accurate and simple-to-use synchronization program that keeps the Palm Desktop in the loop," said Jim Chappelle, chief technology officer for Chapura. "Jibe software helps to enhance the handheld experience by making it more efficient and streamlined for Outlook Express users."

As a standard practice, Chapura offers knowledgeable and responsive customer support via telephone, e-mail, and FAQs on the company's website.

Jibe is available for purchase and download from Chapura's web site, www.chapura.com, or by calling 1-800-CHAPURA. The price of downloading the software is $19.95.
