Eagle Investment Systems Corp., along with Outercurve Technologies, announced today their joint development of a wireless portfolio management system. Accessible via a BlackBerry(TM), Palm(TM) Pilot, iPAQ, or other PDA devices, portfolio managers can receive up-to-the-second information on their portfolios, in addition to detailed financial market information.
This system leverages the advanced technology of the Eagle PACE portfolio management system and Outercurve's robust set of wireless financial applications available through their FMS system. Users will have access to their portfolio data in addition to real-time stock quotes, news, and research keeping portfolio managers in touch with the market.
"Outercurve was a natural fit for Eagle. We had launched our Eagle Portal product that provides clients wireless access to their portfolio data in November 2000. Through Outercurve's FMS product our clients can essentially carry their portfolio in their pocket," said David Palten, President of Eagle.
