Ericsson and Hong Kong CSL today announced an agreement to market a solution providing mobile access to Microsoft Outlook functionality and secure mobile access to Internet and corporate Intranets. The application is developed by Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture and will be launched to enterprises later this year.
Ericsson and Hong Kong CSL Limited will launch the mobile e-mail solution to enterprises on the Hong Kong market. Together with Ericsson and Microsoft, future joint development will focus on innovative mobile applications for GSM, GPRS and 3G networks. CSL is one of the leading network operators in Hong Kong with more than one million subscribers.

The solution integrates Ericssonīs mobile Internet technologies and products with Microsoft Exchange 2000 and Microsoft Mobile Information 2001 Server platforms. Customized support for multiple devices, bulk service activation and security solutions enables CSL to rapidly launch advanced mobile services.
