myCasio Focuses On Building CASSIOPEIA Users' Satisfaction for Both Business and Personal Needs

myCasio(TM), an exclusive new service from Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced its initial line up of content and service partners with the preview today of its Web-based mobile solutions for business professionals and consumers. The myCasio service, which will launch this fall at www.mycasio.com, will offer an array of channels with rich entertainment content and personalized business applications from well-known brand and emerging content and service providers. Located in the Casio booth No. 4253, myCasio is being previewed at the show for partners, developers and press.

myCasio's initial partnerships announced today represent a variety of branded and emerging technology, service and content providers. Among the exciting line up of myCasio partners that are being previewed today are:

Action Engine

Action Engine is an innovative mobile services framework that facilitates transaction-oriented applications for the wireless environment. The myCasio Personal Agentsm service, powered by Action Engine will assist mobile professionals on the go with travel purchases and reservations (air, hotel and car), real-time itinerary changes, restaurant reservations, access to news and weather, and driving directions. Action Engine's technology gathers the necessary information needed to fulfill the request from the user, using a simple question and answer format, then retrieves personalized results from service providers via the wireless Internet. There is no browsing or searching of the Web using this next-generation technology.

Active Sky

Active Sky is an emerging technology leader already making an impact in Japan, by translating rich media into wireless and mobile content. As an integrated technology platform, Active Sky will enable myCasio content providers to create interactive animations, video and games that will be seamlessly downloaded and played back on CASSIOPEIA products. In addition, Active Sky will contribute to myCasio's list of short films and features offerings.

Smashing Ideas is pioneering mobile interactive media content for wireless and Web-based applications. By combining creativity and technology in the development of digital media solutions, Smashing Ideas will provide myCasio users with interesting, interactive games and entertainment that will engage and inform.

"myCasio will greatly expand the market for Smashing Ideas' suite of strategy and casino games," said W. Munro, CEO of Smashing Ideas a Seattle-based developer of games and other digital media deployed over the web. This gives our designers a lot of opportunity to continue to push our thinking and introduce new and exciting interactive games."

Red i Studios

Red i Studios, re-formed from the Egreetings.com Studio, is a leader in animated short programming. Known for short animations, quizzes and viral marketing content, Red i Studios teams up with myCasio to provide interactive quiz and entertainment content that is compelling and fun. At launch, General Trivia, How Sexy Are You? and Time Machine will be featured free downloads.

Eruptor Entertainment is an emerging leader in provocative and irreverent animated programming. Eruptor Entertainment available on myCasio this fall 2001 will include the popular animated series Jonni Nitro and Foo.
