Enhanced Intellisync 4.0 Software Now Offers Connectivity to Popular Wireless Platform

Pumatech, Inc. (Nasdaq:PUMA), the leading provider of software infrastructure for the mobile world, today announced its full support of the Symbian Release 5.0 platform via its Intellisync(R) 4.0 software. Symbian develops the EPOC mobile wireless operating system for mobile devices, such as the Psion Revo. Pumatech already supports Palm OS(R), Pocket PC and Windows CE platforms with Intellisync 4.0. Intellisync 4.0 with Symbian support is immediately available via download from the Pumatech.com web site for $69.95.

Pumatech is a founding member of the Symbian Connectivity Partner Program, which was established to accelerate the production of best-of-breed wireless connectivity solutions for the Symbian platform. Pumatech provides synchronization software and expertise for two-way synchronization on the desktop between a variety of PC-based applications and Symbian-compatible devices. In the future this will be extended to support multi-point, Web-based synchronization of calendar, e-mail, contacts and tasks between Symbian-compatible devices and home PCs, work PCs, and Internet PIMs, using a network, dial-up, or wireless connection to the Internet.
