SL Corp. to Provide Graphical Interface for NTT DoCoMo's New Network Operation System for ``FOMA'' 3G Mobile Phone Service

Leading-Edge Network Management System Using SL-GMS for Enhanced Service

SL Corp., a provider of software and service solutions for the development of real-time graphical and user interfaces, today announced that NTT DoCoMo Inc. has chosen the company's "SL-GMS" Graphical Modeling System for one of DoCoMo's new network operation systems, DoCoMo's 3rd Generation (3G) Mobile Communications System (IMT-2000) service called "FOMA (Freedom of mobile Multimedia Access)" which begins in 2001.

DoCoMo's FOMA connects effortlessly at high speed to a variety of multimedia content, from anywhere, at anytime, leading to the exciting new era of mobile multimedia communications by the world's first 3G wireless network. FOMA's new network operation system, which monitors communication equipment and traffic, utilizes various segments of the SL-GMS product line, including C++/Developer, C++/Net, Enhanced Control Package (ECP) and the Japanese Map Conversion Tool for building its GUI.

As the graphical user interface of the new mobile communications network management system developed to enhance service with more efficient and fast network control, SL-GMS will eventually be running at DoCoMo's Japan-wide operation centers, as FOMA service areas are extended.

"SL is excited to be a part of NTT DoCoMo's highly-anticipated 3G mobile technology initiative," said Thomas Lubinski, CEO and president, SL Corp. "Serving as the dynamic graphical interface that manages DoCoMo's complex wireless network operation system, SL is delivering 24 by 365 monitoring and control capabilities using our highly customizable SL-GMS real-time graphical display technology."
