Talon Technology's GPS-Enabled Navigation Solutions for the Palm Pilot and Compaq iPAQ Deliver Amazing Satellite-Based Technology at an Affordable Price

Talon Technology of Auckland, New Zealand, announced today the launch of a new line of the company's NAVMAN Global Positioning (GPS) satellite-based solutions for the Palm Pilot and Compaq's popular iPAQ Pocket PC.

Talon will demonstrate the new NAVMAN for Compaq iPAQ Pocket PCs, which ships complete with WinCE 3.0 mapping software and the NAVMAN iPAQ GPS jacket receiver.

Talon will demonstrate the NAVMAN for Palm Handhelds, a bundled solution that includes PalmOS mapping software and a GPS receiver that attaches to the back of the Palm III, IIIx, IIIe, Palm V and Vx and the Palm VIIx and the latest Palm m500 series of handheld computers.

Talon will also demonstrate the latest in PC Notebook GPS receiver accessories. The company's NAVMAN eHunter GPS receiver connects to any PC notebook via the serial or USB port and ships complete with the NAVMAN Windows(TM) navigation software.

All of the NAVMAN GPS solutions geographically position the user on a detailed map interface on their handheld device. Users are empowered with important information including street and address finding, navigation while driving and points of interest content, including information on gas stations, lodging, restaurants and ATM locations.
