@hand Wins `Best of Show' at Field Enterprise Solutions

Innovative Solution Enables Wireless Work Without Connectivity at Allegheny Power

@hand Corp., a leading provider of mission-critical mobile software solutions, was named "Best of Show" in the category of wireless data transfer solutions at Field Enterprise Solutions in Chicago. A panel of industry experts selected the winners based on innovation, end-user ROI and quantifiable customer satisfaction. @hand was chosen for its work with Allegheny Power, a leading utility which delivers electricity and natural gas to 3.5 million people in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

The Field Enterprise Solutions "Best of Show" awards highlight the best new products and technology innovations in field service, sales and operations management. The second annual awards were presented by Freedom Technology Media Group (FTMG), publisher of the monthly magazine Field Force Automation, in conjunction with Advanstar Communications, producers of the Field Enterprise Solutions show.

@hand's software solutions allow mobile workers to access and interact with critical information from corporate systems, regardless of location or device. The @hand mobile environment solves the problem of connection-dependency by delivering secure and reliable solutions that work continuously without a connection. In the case of Allegheny Power, @hand supports the company's remote meter-reading, service order dispatching and collections activities on handheld devices without requiring connectivity. By enabling field force organizations to remotely access a wide range of applications, including CRM, ERP and supply chain, enterprises can realize new levels of productivity, revenue and customer satisfaction.

"The winning companies stand out against tough competition for their superior technology innovation in solutions for field enterprises," said award presenter Jennifer Sakurai, editor of Field Force Automation magazine.

The "Best of Show" awards and this year's winners are featured on Field Force Automation magazine's Web site, www.destinationFFA.com.
