Mobilepro CDA Platform to be Available in the First Quarter of 2002

Mobilepro Corp., a Delaware corporation (OTCBB:MBPO - news), announced today that it's Corporate Digital Assistant (CDA) data communications platform is planned to be available for corporate customers in the first quarter of 2002.

Mobilepro's(TM) CDA data communication platform establishes the standard for the future of mobile computing by integrating wireless and wireline communication services as core features of this next generation handheld device. According to market research firm IDC the number of handheld devices sold worldwide is poised to take off from the 12.9 million units sold last year to annual sales of more than 63.4 million units in 2004. IDC further predicted that 2001 will be the year in which mobile access devices really hits their stride.

Currently the combining of wireless communications with handheld computing achieved less than 500,000 unit sales in 2000. This is expected to grow to over 23 million units annually by 2004, representing over 36% of the total handheld market.
