Colorado MEDtech, Inc. and Red-M Join Forces to Provide Bluetooth-Enabled Wireless Medical Devices

Colorado MEDtech, Inc. (Nasdaq:CMED), a Boulder, Colorado-based provider of advanced medical technology outsourcing services and medical imaging system components and accessories, announced a strategic alliance with Red-M(TM), a leading supplier of advanced Bluetooth(TM) networking product solutions.

Under the agreement, Colorado MEDtech will lead development of Bluetooth wireless enabled medical instruments and devices in conjunction with Red-M's 3000AS Access Server and 1000AP Access Points. The collaboration is intended to enable Colorado MEDtech to offer its development customers Bluetooth-enabled medical devices and instruments that can wirelessly transmit data to information systems in hospitals and medical practices over a Red-M-powered Bluetooth network. Bluetooth is a widely accepted technology standard for fast and secure short-range wireless communication.

Red-M is a developer of advanced Bluetooth networking solutions that provide rapid and secure transmission of data, voice and video communications over a wireless network infrastructure. Colorado MEDtech provides comprehensive product design, development, software, medical device connectivity and manufacturing services to medical device and medical imaging companies.
