In-Fusio and Digiplug partner to develop new mobile downloadable games with polyphonic sound. High fidelity for mobile gaming.

As a result of their technical cooperation, In-Fusio, the leader in mobile gaming, and Digiplug, the leader in ring services for mobile phones, will offer the first high fidelity sound mobile phone games in 2002.

Over the last three years, Digiplug has succeeded in developing the technology for encrypting and compressing polyphonic music for mobile phones. The company has established itself as the leader in downloadable ringtones. During the same period, In-Fusio successfully implemented its ExEn® mobile gaming engine with Vodafone and Orange.

ExEn is small-footprint software implemented in handsets, which allows the development and download of real-time animated games. The collaboration between In-Fusio and Digiplug is a natural extension of the ExEn download technology. By combining the technologies of both companies, gamers will finally get high quality sound for their mobile gaming experience.

"Our games are already very attractive " says Gilles Raymond, In-Fusio’s CEO, "now, with high fidelity music we will bring more intensity to the gamers, creating for their favourite games a special atmosphere that they will recognize every time they play. Thanks to Digiplug ‘s technology, In-Fusio is setting a new standard for the mobile gaming experience."

Already proving well, ExEn offers new opportunities of development : the addition of music is one of the steps planned by In-Fusio to provide operators’ customers with the very best games on mobiles. Stéphane Bohbot, Digiplug’s CEO, declares: " Our music technology not only functions on the download principle, but also combines perfectly with ExEn. Following our success with ring tones, Digiplug looks forward to working with In-Fusio towards establishing a new milestone in mobile gaming." In-Fusio and Digiplug will prepare a demonstration handset of their downloadable mobile polyphonic games for the beginning of 2002.
