Millbrook and Allscripts to Offer Integrated Solution

Award-Winning Practice Management System to Integrate Leading Handheld Clinical Applications

Millbrook Corporation today announced a marketing and development relationship with Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:MDRX) the leading provider of point-of-care wireless client-server and Internet-based clinical decision support solutions for physicians.

The two companies have created an interface between Allscripts TouchWorks(TM) clinical solution and Millbrook Practice Manager(TM), extending Millbrook's award-winning practice management system capabilities to include mobile clinical workflow tools.

The integrated solution will enable physicians to use a single handheld device to prescribe medications, capture charges, dictate notes, and review information from the leading clinical reference guides using Allscripts Pocket Library(TM), as well as access real-time patient and scheduling information from Millbrook Practice Manager. The new offering will be distributed through Millbrook's nationwide network of 65 value-added resellers, who focus on independent physician practices. There are currently over 6,000 physicians nationwide who are using Millbrook practice management solutions.

"The ability for physicians to use a wireless device to access coding, capture charges, and pass this information seamlessly into our billing system is a significant innovation that will save physicians time and money," said Michael Nissenbaum, president and chief executive officer of Millbrook Corporation. "Allscripts capabilities expand the value proposition for physicians and will accelerate adoption of both of the solutions."

Both Allscripts and Millbrook use Microsoft technology as an integral part of their offerings. "The Allscripts and Millbrook integrated solution on the Pocket PC platform is a great example of how Microsoft technology can empower companies to tackle serious business issues together," said Ahmad Hashem, M.D., PhD, worldwide healthcare industry manager at Microsoft. "Today's demanding clinical environment requires a robust handheld platform that provides physicians with the right information at their fingertips to help them improve quality and reduce medical errors."

"We are very excited that Millbrook, which is recognized by many as one of the industry's most innovative practice management systems, is working with us to provide an end-to-end solution for independent physician practices," said Glen Tullman, chief executive officer of Allscripts. "This relationship will significantly expand our distribution through value-added resellers, an increasingly important part of our strategy for selling to smaller physician practices."
