Trilogy, Inc. Releases AdmitOne Client for Windows CE

Announces Special 'No Cost' Offer On Select AdmitOne Windows Platforms

Provides security for wireless offerings; suited to handheld Internet devices, cellular modems

Trilogy, Inc., an established developer of flexible and customizable IPSec security software, today announced it would begin shipping its AdmitOne(TM) Client for Windows CE by the end of the month. The new product, whose development was originally announced in June, supports existing PocketPC devices and cellular modems. Trilogy's family of secure connectivity products, branded under the name AdmitOne(TM), enable OEMs, network, VPN vendors and service providers to quickly and easily incorporate IPSec and IKE security within their product offerings.

"Trilogy developed the AdmitOne Client for Windows CE to address the growing use of handheld devices as productivity and business tools." said Jeff Kleiman, Trilogy founder and vice president of engineering. "The need to access constantly changing data such as e-mail or to transmit important business information, has turned secure wireless connectivity for these devices from a luxury to a necessity."

First Wireless Offering

Trilogy's initial customer, Everbee Wireless, develops software solutions that enable network-level security for data communications transmitted via wireless handheld devices. The company purchased AdmitOne for Windows CE to be used within one of its suite of VPN client products: Maya(TM) for Handheld Devices.

"Everbee Wireless is relying on Trilogy's AdmitOne IPSec engine to provide the network level component of our products," said Julien Weil, Everbee's business development manager. "This frees us to concentrate on implementing our core cryptographic technologies for our customers."

Special Offer for Selected AdmitOne Windows Platforms

Through November 1st, any customer who licenses the AdmitOne Client for Windows CE can also license AdmitOne IPSec and IKE Clients for Windows 95/98, NT, 2000 and Me - without paying an initial license fee for any of these platforms. This special offer will allow customers to create a consistent portfolio within all their Windows client offerings - without significant `upfront' expense. Trilogy typically charges a one-time, unlimited license fee per platform accompanied by optional, annual fees for developer-level support, updates and upgrades.

Expanded Support, Adoption of IEEE 802.11

In a release prior to the end of Q4 this year, Trilogy's AdmitOne Client for Windows CE will support PocketPC 2002 systems and other devices that have adopted the IEEE 802.11 standard. This will enable Trilogy's customers to offer products to be used in conjunction with 802.11a or 802.11b wireless access points inside corporations or "hot spots" belonging to service providers.
