AirClic and dynetic solutions Team to Offer Wireless Tracking Services

Spedition Alfred Wedlich GmbH Is First to Test Wireless, Customized ``Track and Trace'' Capabilities

October 17, 2001

AirClic AB today announced that it had reached a licensing agreement with dynetic solution, a German mobile software specialist. Under the terms of the agreement, dynetic solutions will combine AirClic's technology with their proprietary software package to provide a wireless solution offering effective billing, "track and trace" capabilities and decreased administration for dynetic solutions' customers.

dynetic solutions will offer its customers its emoveo software connected to AirClic's ClicThrutm technology and bar code registry. Using the AirClic AC10 cell phone scanner attached to Ericsson cell phones, companies in the logistics, service and energy sectors will be able to support sales-force-automation and industry-solutions. The emoveo software also supports a direct connection to a broad range of groupware, databases, and CRM-/ERP-systems such as SAP.

"Many companies face data entry and supply chain tracking challenges on a daily basis," said Mathias Folchi, business manager at AirClic. "The combination of AirClic's technology with dynetic solutions software creates a flexible, wireless solution, turning workers' cell phones into accessible tools for direct communication with corporate offices."

Spedition Alfred Wedlich GmbH (www.wedlich.com/spedition), the German forwarding and transportation company, is testing the combined system. Participating employees use their cell phones to scan bar codes from an order sheet or package upon delivery, thereby verifying arrival and delivery time. The information is then sent directly to the company's business system for processing or invoicing, saving time and increasing accuracy of data input.

AirClic and dynetic solutions are working together to develop customer- tailored services to increase efficiency for company logistics.
