It was announced today that ALC Environmental, a nationally recognized leader in the environmental industry, is embarking on a revolutionary initiative to outfit its environmental inspectors with a mobile wireless data capture and reporting system.

The new solution is a direct extension of the Numoda CareLink(TM) suite, which provides a variety of mobile wireless assessment applications for the healthcare industry. "Numoda has implemented a specialized capability within the application that enables direct input/collection of data from an XRT Gun (an X-ray measurement device) which measures lead content in paint," said Jack Houriet, CTO of Numoda Corporation.
