Eduprise Collaborates with IBM to Deliver Mobile Computing and e-Education Services to Higher Education Institutions

Deal Brings Cost Effective Technology Application to Teaching and Learning

Eduprise, a CollegisEduprise company, announced today a collaborative effort with IBM (NYSE: IBM) to make teaching and learning more efficient for students and faculty at institutions of higher learning.

The goal is to enhance student services and educational opportunities through the integration of online learning and other e-Education technologies.

The agreement will offer education customers IBM's higher education technology, products and expertise and the academic expertise and e-Education services of Eduprise. As part of the agreement, IBM has designated Eduprise as a preferred provider of e-Education services and a participant in IBM's ThinkPad University program.

With IBM's ThinkPad University program, higher education institutions and their students gain the advantages of a tightly integrated, managed, and scalable pervasive computing environment. This includes IBM ThinkPad Computers, content delivery and management, infrastructure and asset management, middleware, application integration, wireless technology, plus planning, assessment and support services.

Eduprise will provide tailored services to assure widespread faculty, student and staff adoption of the IBM ThinkPad University Program. These services include strategic planning for e-Education, comprehensive faculty development and support, student administrative planning services, course management, system hosting and administration, and 24x7 student help desk.
