InfoGenesis, Ameranth Wireless and Computrition to Create the 21st Century Healthcare Solution

October 18, 2001

InfoGenesis, a leading provider of hospitality information technology, today announced a partnership with Ameranth Wireless(R) and Computrition Inc. to deliver the 21st Century Healthcare solution.

During 2001, InfoGenesis and Ameranth have developed a next generation handheld solution linking Revelation, the InfoGenesis point-of-sale (POS) solution, with Ameranth's advanced handheld application. Combined with Computrition's Hospitality Suite(R) software, this partnership revolutionizes how foodservice is managed in the healthcare industry.

The partnership will offer patients and guests in acute care and other healthcare environments in-room phone ordering of meals, a service previously unavailable.

"We're very excited about this partnership and the possibilities it holds for future growth of the industry," said Scott Martiny, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for InfoGenesis. "Utilizing technology to create this improvement in guest service is a great advantage in the healthcare environment."

WJ Kitchen, Chairman and CEO of Ameranth Wireless added, "InfoGenesis and Ameranth have a history of partnering together to provide cutting edge solutions. We believe that extending the wireless interface we have established with InfoGenesis to the Computrition Hospitality Suite and providing the first totally integrated food-ordering solution in the healthcare market will enable our partnership to offer breakthrough solutions for patient care."

The benefits of this partnership also extend beyond the patient, to make foodservice operators more efficient. "By automating day-to-day foodservice functions, we provide foodservice operators with the tools necessary to control cost and increase efficiency," commented Ellyn Luros-Elson, R.D., President of Computrition.
