LunarStorm USA, LLC ("LunarStorm USA") and LunarWorks AB ("LunarWorks"), today announced their recent signing of an agreement granting LunarStorm USA exclusive licensing rights to operate LunarWorks' highly successful LunarStorm (TM) Internet youth community in the United States. The US presents the largest and most populous licensed territory in the world, with the potential to reach a youth market segment of almost 38 million people. Under terms of the agreement, LunarStorm USA may operate a US version of LunarWorks' LunarStorm community on both wired and wireless Internet mediums. LunarStorm is a unique, web-based Internet and mobile Internet youth community, empowering young people (ages 14-25) to see and be seen, communicate and build relationships on the net. LunarStorm seeks to offer its members a creative environment to share interests and exchange ideas with old and new friends, almost anywhere and anytime. Launched in Sweden in January, 2000 and promoted mainly by word-of-mouth, in only a year and a half, the LunarStorm community has mushroomed to over 850,000 registered members, as many as seventy (70%) percent of all Swedes in the youth age group. Every week, about 25,000 new members currently sign on, while existing members currently open about 50 million pages and send more than 1.5 million text messages. Several hundred thousand visitors and members log in to the community every day.

"LunarStorm's swift growth, predominantly through viral marketing, is incredible," commented Solon Kandel, CEO of LunarStorm USA. "Obviously, LunarStorm offers the rich and meaningful content and individual control demanded by the youth segment of the Internet." "We are pleased to have the opportunity to expand the reach of this explosive community to the US." stated Kjell Sallen, CEO of LunarWorks in Sweden, "We are excited about our progress in taking Europe by storm, and we are pleased by the strategic agreement with LunarStorm USA to bring this community to the youth of America. This transaction creates an experienced US-based organization to move forward aggressively in growing LunarStorm's Internet and wireless Internet services and products for the highly sought after US youth market."
