The Sierra Wireless AirCard(R) Wireless Modems Connect with New Pocket PC 2002

Today at the Pocket PC 2002 launch event, Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ:SWIR) (TSE:SW.) demonstrated its AirCard wireless modem product line working with the new Microsoft Windows-Powered Pocket PC 2002 Software. As a Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 launch partner, Sierra Wireless has worked strategically with Microsoft to deliver a wireless PDA that gives business users the freedom to connect to the Internet anytime, anywhere. Sierra Wireless continues to penetrate into the growing PDA market with products that range from PC Card wireless modems to embedded modules.

An important value for PDA users is connectivity to a host of applications. Using the AirCard wireless modems, business users can access critical corporate information with the security and reliability now offered with the Pocket PC 2002.
