BulletIN Announces Commercial Launch With Edge Wireless, LLC

November 22, 2001

BulletIN.net, a leading developer and supplier of two-way wireless Internet messaging products, and Edge Wireless, LLC announced today that Edge Wireless(SM) will deliver BulletIN's mobile e-mail, wireless Internet and corporate e-mail solutions throughout its rapidly growing subscriber base in California, Idaho, Oregon, and Wyoming.

Edge Wireless will be promoting the service as a new product "Edge BulletIN Services," utilizing their state-of-the-art wireless PCS system.

Edge BulletIN Services is a mobile e-mail solution that assigns a fully functional e-mail address to a mobile phone. Users can easily send, receive, reply and forward e-mail to another e-mail address or even a fax machine for printing. The service also allows users to create Personal Address List (PAL), or Group List to reduce the amount of keystrokes required for mobile origination or forwarding of messages. Users do not need a WAP phone or even a computer to use these services. Additionally, corporate solutions from BulletIN.net allow both office e-mail and data to be forwarded to a mobile phone for convenient access while traveling. Comprehensive and customizable filtering options allow users to easily manage the e-mail that is forwarded to their phone.

Edge Bulletin Services also represents the first commercial implementation of BulletIN's patent pending Mobile Content Translation platform, which allows two-way SMS users to dynamically interact with wireless content. Corporate enterprise can now create SMS based bookmarks that allow its users to securely access corporate data for sales and field force automation projects. This tool allows enterprise customers to leverage their current assets without expensive re-engineering and retooling of their field personnel.

"With BulletIN's flexibility in deploying both vertical and horizontal data solutions," says Donnie Castleman, President & COO for Edge Wireless, "it was an easy decision to make." He continued, "Edge Wireless can now out-perform even larger operators, while securing a technology leadership position for the explosive growth in the wireless data arena."

"It is a pleasure to work with an operator like Edge Wireless, who is focused on delivering solutions to their current digital subscriber base," says Robert Francis, BulletIN's V.P. of Business Development. "Many operators have taken their eye off their addressable market and are looking to only create data applications based on futuristic technology, which does not hit the mark for customers that are looking for solutions to work with their current handset technology."
