November 6, 2001

CinemaElectric, Inc. presents a unique twist on the classic Hollywood motion picture industry model: making a finely crafted motion picture product, with a select group of artisans, that has global appealŠfor a mobile audience.

CinemaElectric creates and distributes a unique form of downloadable digital cinema called PocketCinema, to be played on mobile phones, handheld and desktop computers, PDAs, and future movie-playing personal electronics. This next-generation digital film studio currently has revenue distribution deals in Asia, Europe and North America. Their mission is to build the world¹s largest library of original Mobile Multimedia content, producing content in formats that make revenue today on existing networks, as well as on tomorrow¹s high-speed networks.

Founded in 1999, the company has perfected its digital ³film-factory² process via its patent-pending DENSE MEDIA FORMAT to create both high-bandwidth and low-bandwidth content, optimized for both streaming and downloading. The studio produces content in a wide array of formats, from full-motion movies and animations, to still images, operator logos, picture messages, animated screen savers, enhanced message service content (EMS), and multimedia message service content (MMS), for a rapidly growing mobile content audience throughout the world.

³Mobile graphics and ringtone downloads are projected to produce a USD $8 billion plus business in Europe in 2001, as well as a multi-billion dollar business in Asia,² states CEO James F. Robinson, ³yet this graphic content is essentially created by a variety of local cottage industries. The mission of CinemaElectric is to create high-quality, global libraries of multimedia content, that can be sold in territory after territory, just as Hollywood filmed entertainment and music is today.² CinemaElectric currently has four channels of global content, ELECTRIC CATWALK (fashion), ACTION! (extreme sports and action themes), MOVIE MESSAGES (multimedia greetings) and POCKET-GIRLS (beautiful women).

CinemaElectric¹s content distribution partners include Akumiitti (Helsinki, Finland & Singapore), Casio (Dover, NJ), and W-mode (Calgary, Alberta). It has technology partnerships with PacketVideo, Emblaze Systems, ActiveSky, SolidStreaming, Apple QuickTime, TealPoint Software and MediaCentris. The company is based at the Los Angeles Center Studios, one of the city¹s newest and most active production facilities.

CinemaElectric CEO and Founder, James F. Robinson, has combined his experience as entrepreneur, writer and director to create CinemaElectric. The award-winning independent feature, STILL BREATHING, starring Brendan Fraser, marked Robinson¹s feature film debut in 1998. Distributed by October Films, it premiered on HBO in June 1999. His early work has been seen on PBS, The Disney Channel, The Discovery Network and a variety of European Networks.

Mr. Robinson will appear at several upcoming industry events. He will speak on ³Local v. Global Content ‹ How Well Does Content Travel?² on November 29 in Pasadena, California and on ³Defining the New Film Watching Experience² on December 1 in Burbank, California, both part of ³The Digital Media Revolution in the Americas,² sponsored by The Institute of the Americas and the USC Annenberg School.
