ClearCross announced today that its global cross-border trade solution, Export Compliance has been optimized for the wireless communications environment.

ClearCross has responded to growing customer requirements for flexibility in the use of its trade compliance solutions. This initiative will allow both private and public sector customers' field use of the Export Compliance Solution in real-time, eliminating the requirement for a wired Internet connection.

In response to the changing needs of our customers and the greater marketplace, ClearCross introduces software that permits complete mobility without compromising security. Now, federal agencies, such as the Bureau of Export Administration (BXA), U.S. Customs, Border Patrol, National Guard - as well as Private Sector Warehouse and Compliance Specialists, can perform examinations in the field.

ClearCross supports accurate restricted party screenings as well as export license determination--anywhere, anytime.

"These solutions for the PDA environment require minimal development efforts, making this initiative a good strategic move for the company," says Bruce Johnson, CEO of ClearCross. "We have discussed with several government agencies, as well as private industry, the need to optimize our export compliance solution to provide high performance and wireless connectivity. ClearCross is pleased to quickly provide capabilities that assist our government and its citizens in their efforts to secure our homeland."

The ClearCross export compliance solution is an easily accessible, up-to-date, and comprehensive business tool. It assists those managing exports in determining the exact restrictions they are liable regarding the trade of goods to specific parties and/or countries.

With this newest innovation, ClearCross has increased accessibility to its proven export compliance tool so that field personnel can conduct their compliance checks without being restricted to an office or wired Internet connection.

"We pursued initiatives in the wireless arena because we recognized an urgency for such flexibility, and because we could do so without compromising our focus on the needs of our core vertical markets," says Bill Harrison, COO of ClearCross, "We are committed and remain diligent about providing the best trade compliance solutions to the chemical, energy, pharmaceutical, high-tech, and automotive sectors, clearly demonstrated by our recent introduction of ClearCross Fast Track,"
