For the busy professional, Motorola's P280 offers a wireless modem, international reach and personal information management tools all in one mobile phone. With the Motorola P280, today's speed-thirsty consumer now has the option of accessing e-mail, faxes or Web-based information directly through their handset or by using the included accessory cable to plug-in to another wireless device, such as a laptop or PDA, transforming the phone into a wireless modem. If the user takes the call, the information session will pause and automatically restart where it left off when the call is complete.

With the phone's tri-band technology, the Motorola P280 provides world-travelers with the convenience of taking one phone and one phone number to more than 80 countries worldwide. Additional features include a WAP 1.1 microbrowser, IrDA connectivity, 500- entry phonebook, date book with alarm, voice recorder, voice- activated dialing, VibraCall(R) alert and 64 alert tones - 32 pre- programmed and 32 customizable.
