Motorola (NYSE: MOT) today announced a free trial of Motorola MyMail for nearly 2 million consumers already using Motorola 2-way messaging products. By visiting www.motorola.com/mymail, consumers can download a mobile e-mail solution that offers remote, synchronized access and customizable management of personal or corporate e-mail accounts via its 2-way messaging products. The MyMail free trial includes the MyMail Desktop Plus version for 30-days free, offering users a direct link to desktop e-mail applications from their wireless Motorola device.

Three versions of Motorola MyMail are currently available including MyMail Desktop, for individual consumers and SOHO users; MyMail Desktop Plus, developed for business users in need of PDA/PIM support; and MyMail Enterprise, formally known as emailVClient(R), an in-house server solution with superior security. Motorola MyMail solutions provide users with a rapid and transparent connection to their e-mail on-the-go, via the Talkabout(R) T900 2-way or Timeport(TM) P935 Personal Communicator text messaging products.

"Motorola MyMail is an important tool for consumers who desire a constant connection to their desktop e-mail accounts," said Miguel Pellon, vice president and general manager, Wireless Messaging, Personal Communications Sector, Motorola. "We'd like all Motorola 2-way users to have the opportunity to experience the freedom and efficiency gained from using MyMail."

Each version of the Motorola MyMail solution solves the needs of a specific target market. Finally, the Enterprise server-based solution is ideal for large businesses requiring internal control, a higher level of security and encryption of messages, PIM/PDA synchronization capabilities and enterprise-specific wireless applications.
