Simon & Schuster Interactive to Begin Publishing Games for The 'Pocket PC' Platform

Designed for Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) Running Windows(R) CE

Simon & Schuster Interactive announced today the Company will releasing its first titles for the Windows(R) CE or "Pocket PC" platform. Four titles will ship this Fall including: "Empire of the Undead," "Pro Car Racing," "3D Hunting Grizzly," and "3D Hunting Trophy Whitetail."

Pocket PC games allow gamers who are on the go to enjoy their favorite games on their PDA with full graphics and sound. Two games on Simon & Schuster Interactive's lineup are original Pocket PC titles -"Empire of the Undead," and "Pro Car Racing."

"Pocket PCs have become very popular with people who have busy lifestyles," said Gilles Dana, president and publisher of Simon & Schuster Interactive. "We feel there is a market for interactive entertainment products for these people on the go who want to play games, but do not want to sit by a large PC or a console."

With Laptop-Quality displays and blazing speed, Pocket PCs are quickly becoming the portable gaming device of choice for the travelling professional.

"3D Hunting Grizzly" - Head to the woods in search of big game -the Grizzly. This is definitely not your normal Sunday hunting trip. Includes a shooting range to improve accuracy skills. Available: December 2001. Rated: "T" by the ESRB. Estimated street price: $19.95.

"3D Hunting Trophy Whitetail" - Hunters practice their skills in three, photo-realistic settings or use the target range to sharpen shooting skills. Available: December 2001. Rated "T" by the ESRB. Estimated street price: $19.95.
