November 21, 2001

Thinque Systems Corporation, the emerging leader in the field of mobile enterprise applications (MEAs), today announced it will exhibit it’s new enterprise class, mobile computing applications at the 2001 Fall COMDEX® Show, to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 12 through the 16, 2001. Thinque Systems will be in the Microsoft® Pavilion at Booth #66 in the main hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (L4852).

The company will feature live demonstrations of its new mobile Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Field Force Automation (FFA) solutions: Thinque MSP for Field Sales and Thinque MSP for Field Data Collection. These mobile enterprise applications were developed to run on Pocket PC and Windows CE handheld devices. The applications automate the tasks of, as well as direct, and manage mobile workers while providing them access to enterprise data, business rules and business processes. Each application can operate stand-alone or be fully integrated into existing front and back office enterprise applications for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or Supply Chain Management (SCM). This greatly increases the velocity at which field information reaches the business enterprise. In addition, the applications utilize advanced synchronization technology and are designed to send and receive data via dial up connections or in wireless mode.

"The most important thing to keep in mind here is that these are packaged applications that have been field-tested," stated Ning Ning Yu Thinque’s vice president of engineering. "We are not talking about a Beta application," added Yu. "We have documented scalability, reliability and usability through many of our world-class customers such as Dawn Food Products which is one of the world’s largest bakery distributors."
