Melody Wins MyMobileHome Contract With Tele2

December 20, 2001

Melody Interactive Solutions has signed an agreement with Swedish mobile operator Tele2, detailing the delivery and support of the application suite Melody MyMobileHome(TM). Tele2 is launching the new service as "Comviq Community."

Melody MyMobileHome is a community solution that allows end users to create mobile home pages, update each other about the latest news, communicate within groups, join bulletin board discussions as well as use other related services. The MyMobileHome services are accessed through the mobile phone via interactive SMS or WAP, which makes it possible for all subscribers to use the service. User settings, member search and other advanced features are handled through a personal web page.

Tele2 is initially launching Comviq Community as an interactive SMS service, allowing all Comviq/Tele2 subscribers to become members of the community by sending the word "home" to service number 72172. Comviq Community will shortly also be available via WAP. The web site is available on www.comviq.se/sms/cc.

MyMobileHome is a mobile community solution with focus on innovative functionality that makes mobile communication easier and more fun. The solution has an open API architecture that makes it possible for third party developers to deliver modules to the system.

"Melody is very happy to deliver MyMobileHome to Tele2, as part of their effort to launch revenue generating applications," says Per Mosseby, Founder and CEO of Melody Interactive Solutions. "MyMobileHome will give Tele2 a future-proof community tool that enables innovative services for all users today. At the same time it bridges the gap between SMS and GPRS by allowing subscribers continued access to the service as they move from SMS to more advanced mobile technology," says Per Mosseby.
