Sierra Wireless AirCard 555 Wins Best of Show Award at Internet World Fall 2001, Recognized for Best in Class in Communication and Collaboration

Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ:SWIR)(TSE:SW.) announced today that the Sierra Wireless AirCard 555 was honored with a Best of Show Award at Internet World Fall 2001 held in New York, NY.

The Sierra Wireless AirCard(R) 555 was recognized in the Communication and Collaboration category for its attention to always-on high-speed access and user power consumption.

The Sierra Wireless AirCard 555 wireless network card gives mobile users fast anytime, anywhere wireless access to the Internet, intranet, corporate applications and email. It offers reliable high-speed wireless access on the nationwide CDMA network at speeds up to 153 kbps. The design offers superior power management allowing users to work wirelessly for extended periods. End users may also add voice and messaging capabilities to their laptop or PDAs.
