Wildfire Version 5.0 Delivers Hands-Free Group Messaging--Ideally Suited for Mobile Professionals in Today's Corporate Marketplace

Wildfire Communications, Inc., a pioneer in voice-activated virtual assistant technology, today announced version 5.0 of its award-winning, virtual assistant--Wildfire(R). The latest version introduces group messaging capabilities designed to give subscribers increased functionality with their wireless and wireline telephones. These new benefits, combined with the current Wildfire feature set, enable subscribers to more efficiently and effectively manage their mobile communications through a simple, intuitive voice interface.

Version 5.0's new functionality is intended to provide a competitive advantage for carriers who cater to the corporate marketplace. Group messaging provides a more effective way for professionals to "stay-in-touch" and easily communicate with groups in their organizations, which has become critical in today's rapidly changing marketplace. Wildfire's new capabilities increase the power and convenience of the solution by enabling mobile professionals to do the following by using simple voice commands:

-- Create and forward voice messages to one or more of the people saved in their contact directory, which remembers up to 150 contacts with six phone numbers for each.

-- Forward incoming messages or faxes with comments to other Wildfire contacts within their directory.

-- Retrieve items from the "trash", enabling users to recover discarded voice messages and faxes.

"As consumers increasingly rely on wireless devices to manage more and more of their daily communications, the demand for complete hands-free voice-activated solutions increases," said Mel Laasko, CEO of Wildfire Communications. "Wildfire's new group messaging capabilities provide our customers--wireless and wireline carriers--with one of the industry's most mature and fully functional virtual assistant solutions, making their offerings very attractive to both consumer and corporate customers."
