GoAmerica and Microsoft to Feature MSN Mobile For Go.Web

Wireless Internet Service Wireless MSN Portal Will Reach New Audience of Handheld Device Users

NEW YORK - June 22, 1999 - GoAmerica Communications Corp., the nation's leading wireless Internet service provider, announced today at PC Expo that it is working with Microsoft Corp. to reach an agreement to provide wireless access to MSN™ Mobile (http://mobile.msn.com/). GoAmerica plans to feature MSN Mobile content for Go.Web Internet service customers.

Under the terms of the proposed agreement, subscribers to GoAmerica's Web@Hand™ portfolio of wireless Internet-based services, including Go.Web™, will have instant access to information services from MSN Mobile. Using a Microsoft® Windows® CE-based device or a RIM Inter@ctive Pager from Research In Motion, GoAmerica customers will be able to receive and send e-mail messages using the MSN Hotmail™ Web-based e-mail service, access their online financial data from the MSN MoneyCentral™ personal finance online service, and view other personalized information from the MSN network of Internet services such as news, sports and weather from MSNBC.

When launched later this year, the Go.Web service featuring MSN Mobile will be available for as little as $9.95 per month. A free trial of the service is also planned.

"Today's Web portal has become an important gateway for consumers needing to access information," said Joe Korb, executive vice president of GoAmerica Communications Corp. "By introducing MSN Mobile to the rapidly growing population of wireless device users, we believe the convenience of mobile access to online information will become a way of life."

On June 14, MSN became the first of the major Internet portal sites to offer wireless information services when it launched MSN Mobile, a wireless portal that provides highly customizable news, sports, weather, stock quotes, horoscopes and personal alerts to pagers and cellular phones.

"As the first wireless Internet portal, we are making the Internet accessible for consumers any time, anywhere and on any device," said Sung Rhee, general manager of MSN Wireless Services at Microsoft. "Working with GoAmerica allows MSN Mobile to reach an even broader audience."
