Nokia joins Wireless LAN Allicance (WLANA) as new member

Nokia adds their commimtemt to WLANA's educational effort for wireless local area networking market

(June 21, 1999) - The Wireless LAN Alliance (WLANA), an educational trade association for the wireless local area networking industry, announced today that Nokia has joined WLANA as a member.

"The Wireless LAN Alliance welcomes Nokia to our organization," said Mack Sullivan, managing director of WLANA. "Nokia's commitment to industry growth and their enthusiasm for our educational mission will strengthen WLANA's ability to deliver materials explaining the applications, issues and trends in the wireless local area networking market".

"In the last three years, WLANA has established itself as the recognized source of educational information on the wireless local area networking marketplace.
