(June 21, 1999) - The Wireless LAN Alliance (WLANA), an educational trade association for the wireless local area networking industry, announced today that Nokia has joined WLANA as a member.

"Nokia's commitment to industry growth and their enthusiasm for our educational mission will strengthen WLANA's ability to deliver materials explaining the applications, issues and trends in the wireless local area networking market".
