EarthCam (http://www.earthcam.com), experts in webcasting technology and the leading source of live webcams, has announced that on October 7, at the Fall Internet World 99 conference, (Jacob Javits Center, Room 1A05, 1:00 PM) EarthCam will demonstrate for the first time ever its technology that transmits live real-time images to be received on a handheld wireless device. The first ever image will be that of Jennifer Ringley (www.JenniCam.org), a woman recognized for living her life live on the Internet via webcam technology. The second images will be live traffic conditions made possible by a partnership with WNBC.
EarthCam has developed an application that enhances live images that are viewable on the Palm VII and other handheld wireless devices. The standard 150 x 150 pixel images can be tailored for individual preferences. Utilizing the Palm Query Application (PQA), EarthCam has created an expanding range of channel applications.

EarthCam Mobile software is currently available via free download for the Palm VII and other wireless devices utilizing the PQA operating system at EarthCam's website (www.earthcam.com/mobile). EarthCam is expected to release software for use with wireless devices that are based on other platforms such as Windows CE, prior to the end of 4th quarter 1999.
