GoAmerica and DataRover to Offer Go.Web Wireless Internet Service on the DataRover 840

GoAmerica Communications Corp., the nation's leading wireless Internet service and content provider, and DataRover™ Mobile Systems Inc., a leader in powerful, lightweight and easy-to-use mobile computing solutions, today announced at Wireless IT their intent to provide wireless Internet access and host content on the DataRover 840 handheld computer.

The partnership is structured as a joint marketing agreement that will target a variety of vertical markets and mobile users in industries such as public safety, healthcare, transportation and logistics. Under the agreement, GoAmerica Communications will provide wireless connectivity to DataRover customers, and DataRover will offer the GoAmerica Go.Web service to its end-users.

With Go.Web, wireless subscribers can access corporate intranet information along with personalized Web content, such as stock, news, travel, sports and weather updates. The DataRover 840 device allows mobile professionals to communicate by email, fax, the Internet, corporate intranets or via wireless networks. Together, GoAmerica and DataRover deliver integrated communications functionality allowing users to send and retrieve almost any data at any time and from anyplace. Both companies will offer technical support and services to their respective customers.
