Good Technology leads the way with Wireless

Leading UK web production company Good Technology, announces today the launch of a specialist division, GTUnwired, focusing on the delivery of information and services using wireless technologies such as W.A.P. The unit launches with commitment from several key agency clients including EMAP Active and MP3 resource, Crunch Music.

As one of the first UK companies to exploit the commercial possibilities of the World Wide Web, the announcement of this dedicated wireless division makes Good Technology one of the first UK web companies to harness the integrated business opportunities that wireless networking offers.

Richard Davies, Managing Director of Good Technology commented: “With the launch of the wireless division, we aim to be right at the forefront of developments within wireless as soon as they happen.

The development forms part of our longer-term plan to offer a fully integrated approach to Internet service delivery. It’s important that we consider cross platform delivery right at the solution-design stage so that we can fully exploit an integrated approach for our clients. Digital and Interactive TV will also form part of that same offering.

We have had our eye on developments within W.A.P. for a long time and anticipate that this will be bigger than any other form of Internet delivery for the foreseeable future."

Good Technology is also in discussion with two other major clients, which will be announced before the end of the year.
