XTNDConnectTM Server Makes Data More Accessible
Corporate America is realizing the need to integrate and manage mobile computing
devices in the enterprise environment. Synchronization solutions that support standard
groupware applications and ODBC databases, as well as a wide range of mobile devices, are
a key element in helping IT departments develop and deploy a secure and flexible mobile
information management strategy.
XTNDConnect Server (formerly known as ASL-Connect) synchronizes Windows CE and Palm
Computing mobile devices with Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes/Domino servers and custom
ODBC-compliant databases. Users can connect locally or remotely using cable, infrared,
LAN, WAN or modem connections. With XTNDConnect Server, IT administrators can manage data
and applications on mobile devices with backup, restore, installation and configuration
capabilities.
