Certicom Expands Partnership With Puma Technology to Provide Extensive Security for Intellisync.com

New Internet Synchronization Service to be Secured With Certicom's SSL Plus Security Technology

Certicom, a leading provider of next-generation encryption technology, and Puma Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: PUMA), a leading provider of mobile device management and synchronization software, today announced a licensing agreement whereby Puma will secure its free Internet-based synchronization service, Intellisync.com™, with encryption technology designed by Certicom. Scheduled to be available in the first calendar quarter of 2000, Intellisync.com will allow anyone with Internet access to keep popular PC applications, mobile devices, and Web-based content and services synchronized from one central address on the Internet.
