Shoutmail.com, Inc., a provider of Internet-telephone applications, today announced that it has signed a joint marketing and technical development agreement with Quantum Computer Services, owner and operator of My Own Email (www.myownemail.com). Under the agreement, Shoutmail.com becomes the exclusive provider of phone access to email for all My Own Email users. The phone-access service is now available to all My Own Email users.
With Shoutmail, My Own Email becomes one of the first Web-based email services to offer phone access. Shoutmail enables all My Own Email users (currently more than 2 million) to retrieve and listen to messages from their My Own Email accounts, as well as reply with voice-email messages, from any ordinary telephone, cell phone, or WAP-based 'smart' phone.
