This will be solved by WTA (Wireless Telephony Application), a part of WAP 1.2. That's the good news. The bad news is that this will be restricted to the one (operator++) owning the gateway. Because of the risk of setting up calls not wanted by the user, there are restrictions on the use of WTA.
