Hello Jeffrey,
Maybe this is not the help you hoped...
I´m working at t-mobile Germany since two years and my only job is testing WAP Scenaries.
I´m on the search for a free and open source WAP Stack, so I could write a good testautomatisation.
Long talked nothing submitted, the best place to get a WAP Stack from at the moment may be the WAPFORUM. I don´t know, wheather they give it up with no cost I don´t know. But it is written in C and C++ as I know, so you could decompile it (it is inside the Nokia -WAP -toolkit (this I think I could mail to you if needed (4Mb).
Maybe it helped a little bit.

http://www.wapforum.de (is not the same)
If you´ve found a source, please could you tell it to me or send it?
Yours, Thomas
