The wap server is just a standard web server, the only difference is that the content types has to be set according to content types defined in WAP.
And of course, the content has to be stored as wml and not html.


To access the server, the wireless terminal has to browse through a WAP specific gateway
The gateway translates the WAP protocols to protocols used on the internet
