Unfortunately, to have a physically isolated WAP gateway doesn't provide end-to-end security either. What you need is a WAP Server. A WAP server is like web server that speaks the WAP protocols, including WTLS, instead of HTTP and SSL. I know of three WAP server on the market from Nokia, Columbitech and Tantau.
