Just wanted to be more clear:
If I code WML and WMLScript based apps and put it on a webserver with the MIME types setup properly then really I do not need to worry about implementing a WAP Gateway right? The person with the mobile web access already is going through a Gatway that is used to access my WML site right? Then the question is that what can I do with a Gateway? I mean what extra services can be privided if I implemented a WAP Gateway?

Since all Telecom Companies that offer mobile web access (like SPRINT) already have a Gateway so in effect all I really need is a webserver with the mime types setup right?
